SHREE NRUTYOTSABA 2023 CONCLUDES WITH ODISSI SOLO, DUET & GROUP PRESENTATION BY RENOWNED DANCERS
Bhubaneswar (10.12.2023):The Shree Nrutyotsaba 2023 organized by Shree Dance Academy at Bhanja Kala Mandap, Bhubaneswar was concluded today with Solo, Duet and Group Odissi performances by the eminent artists. The esteemed guests of the concluding evening were RadhashyamMohapatra, Director (HR), NALCO, Dhaneswar Swain, Eminent Mardala Player, Minakshi Behera, Eminent Odissi Dancer and Namita Ray, Secretary, Shree Dance Academy.
In the beginning of the programme Shree Dance Academy felicitated Guru SnehapravaSamantaray, Eminent Odissi Guru, Dance Exponent and ShriPrahaladPani, Eminent Silpi Guru. The evening first presentation was Group Odissi dance by Namita Ray and students of Shree Dance Academy.They were presented Abhinaya Krushna Gala Pare, what happened to Radha after Krishna left Vrindavana ? Music composed by ShriSatyabrata Katha and Choreographed by herself Smt.
Namita Ray.
Followed by Aswathama a story of epic Mahabharata presented by Internationally acclaimed Odissi danseuse Guru Dr.ArunaMohanty.
The dance was scripted by Kedar Mishra, music composed by Guru Ramhari Das, Rhythm composed by Guru Dhaneswar Swain and dance choreographed by Guru Dr.Aruna Mohanty.
Next presentation was Odissi duet by Paulam iChakraborty & Nivedita Daw Dutta.
They were presented Abhinaya Tarafollowed by another Odissiduet AbhinayaRashika Mani KimpainSajaBairi presented by SatyaprakasMallikand SambhabiNayak from Shree Dance Academy.
The concluding evening last presentation was Group Odissi dance by Guru Bipanchi Das and Group presented Sarala Bandana. The event was supported by Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Department of Odia Language, Literature & Culture, Government of Odisha, Sangeet Natak Akademi, NALCO, IMFA, SBI, LIC, PPL, MaaSarada Publications and OPTCL.
