Smoke emanates from Bhubaneswar-Sonepur Intercity Express

Bhubaneswar (12/02/2025): Panic prevailed among passengers of the Bhubaneswar-Sonepur Intercity Express after smoke was noticed at the wheels of an AC coach of the train near the Mancheswar Railway Station here on Wednesday. Immediate response by the train operators averted a major mishap.

The train was halted for nearly 30 minutes as necessary inspections and repairs were carried out. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

After ensuring the safety of the affected coach, the train resumed its journey towards its destination.
