Soorya Krishnamoorthy to be coveted with 15th Bharat Muni Samman
Bhubaneswar(28/11/2024): Indian artist, philanthropist, and scientist Krishnamoorthy Soorya has been selected for the prestigious Bharat Muni Samman this year for outstanding contribution to art and culture. Named after the author of Natyashastra Bharat Muni, the award has been instituted by the Bhubaneswar-based organization Kalingayana Touryatrikam. The award along with a Citation and cash memo of Rs 50,000 is to be presented to Krishnamoorthy for his contribution towards the promotion of Indian arts and culture in December on the concluding day of the two-day Bharat Muni Festival scheduled to be held here on 16th and 17th of December at Rabindra Mandap. The organization has a strength of more than 200 students and repertoires perform both in National and International platforms.
Currently Guru Puspita Mishra is the torchbearer of the organisation.
