Special Stall Inaugurated by ORMAS and District Administration on the Occasion of Diwali Festival

On the occasion of Diwali Utsav–2025, a special stall was inaugurated yesterday by District Collector Surjyabanshi Mayur Vikas.

Officials from ORMAS and Mission Shakti were present at the event. The main objective of this initiative is to provide a marketing platform for rural and women entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their locally produced items. It aims to promote economic empowerment, self-reliance, and market linkage for women and rural entrepreneurs.

The stall features a variety of products including terracotta handicrafts, decorative items, and festive accessories, all crafted by members of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Producer Groups from Balasore district.

According to the district administration, the special Diwali festival stall will remain open to the public till October 21, 2025.
