SUNDARGARH BANDH AFFECTS NORMAL LIFE
Sundargarh(05/10/2023): The BJP Mahila Morcha and Adivasi Mahila Morcha launched a 12-hour bandh in Sundargarh district on Thursday. The protestors demand a CBI inquiry into the deaths of Rourkela Assistant Collector Susmita Minj and Udit Nagar lady ASI Alisa Narmi Lugun. The strike affected normal life as shops, markets and business establishments remained closed while vehicles stayed off the roads at most places. Susmita's body was recovered from a pond on September 19.
Lugun died under mysterious circumstances while on duty at an accident site.
In a viral video from the accident site at RMC Square Ring Road, Lugun was seen holding the hand of a woman while some others were trying to free her.
There was an altercation between Lugun and those persons.
