TRAFFIC RULES BECOME STRICTER IN BHUBANESWAR
Bhubaneswar (19/03/2024): The traffic have now been made stricter in Bhubaneswar.
Jumping the traffic red light can now lead to suspension of driving license for three months.
Not only driving license suspension, the commuters jumping any traffic signals in the city will get forwarded to court. Bhubaneswar Traffic DCP PK Rout informed that sensitisation drives have been carried out at Jaydev Vihar Square, AG Square and other major crossings. Rout requested the commuters to stop their vehicles on orange light and use the road only after the red light is cleared.
Action will be taken against the habitual offenders, he added.
