Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana Das said, "Tags will be attached to the dogs’ ears, and all data will be maintained by the BMC.
Details such as who owns the pet dogs and where the stray dogs are roaming will be recorded."
Information about whether the dogs have been sterilized and vaccinated will also be kept.
The initiative aims to keep the city clean and ensure the safety of the dogs.
