TRAINING IMPARTED TO YUW MEMBERS ON LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Bhubaneswar (28/09/2023): A two-day leadership development training for members of the Bhubaneswar Young Urban Women (YUW) was held in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
The training was organized by ActionAid Association in collaboration with the Center for Child & Women Development and took place at the Red Cross Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
The primary objective of the training was to enhance the leadership skills of the YUW members, as shared by Bhaskar Chandra Pradhan.
Serving as the State-level trainer, Sasmita Mangaraj used various tools and techniques to educate the participants on leadership development.
Notable figures such as Suvendu Kumar Ray, Senior Programme Lead at ActionAid Association, and women's rights activist Usarani Behera spoke about the role of a leader and their responsibilities towards society.
Additionally, cyber expert Binayak Sahoo enlightened the participants about preventive methods of cyber crime, the advantages and disadvantages of using social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.The program began with a welcome speech by Snigdha Das and concluded with Lucky Mahala offering a warm vote of thanks to all attendees.
Participants received certificates of appreciation from distinguished guests .
