Truckloads of potatoes stranded on West Bengal border

Jaleswar(28/11/2024): Hundreds of trucks loaded with potatoes remained stranded at the Lakhmannath toll gate, 25 km from Jaleswar in Balasore district due to restrictions imposed by the West Bengal government.

The trucks have been stuck since last night. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has warmed that strict action will be taken against anyone found transporting potatoes to other states .
