UNION CABINET APPROVES PM E-BUS SEVA SCHEME

New Delhi (16/08/2023): The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the PM e-Bus Seva Scheme.

Under the scheme, around 10,000 electric buses will be deployed on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in 169 cities across India.

This was informed by Union Minister Anurag Thakur.

An amount of Rs 57613 crore will be spent for this purpose. The scheme will support bus operations for ten years.
