Writer Chhabirani Pati Receives Barabati Nrutyotsav Literary Award

Balasore, Jan 15 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): The 26th edition of the Barabati Nrutyotsav, named after the historic Barabati Fort, was inaugurated at Sarala Bhavan in Cuttack.

The event was held under the chairmanship of renowned dance guru Priyaranjan Das. Distinguished guests included District Culture Officer Nalinikanta Sahu, Guru Nimakanta Rautaray, Odisha IFFCO Officer Prasanna Kumar Beura, and eminent mardala exponent Guru Dhaneswar Swain.

On this occasion, noted Odia writer Chhabirani Pati was specially honoured with the Barabati Nrutyotsav Literary Award 2026. The award, comprising a ceremonial shawl and floral bouquet, was presented by acclaimed music artiste Dr Sangeeta Goswain.

Literary friends and admirers have extended warm congratulations to Mrs Pati on receiving this prestigious honour.
