Unit-4 Fish Market set for major revamp

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Unit-4 Fish Market in Bhubaneswar is set to undergo a major makeover, with the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) planning to remove all encroachments within the market premises.

Mayor Sulochana Das visited the market on Sunday and reviewed the situation with BMC officials. 

Following the assessment, she announced that new shops, dedicated parking areas, and improved internal roads will be developed as part of the upgrade.

During the visit, the Mayor urged vendors to maintain cleanliness and refrain from dumping waste indiscriminately. She instructed that waste should be stored only in designated plastic drums to ensure better hygiene in the area.
