20 Bangladeshis identified in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur to be deported
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Bangladeshis identified from Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha will be deported.
The Odisha government has released data on Bangladeshi infiltrators in the state.
According to the information, 2,109 suspects were verified, of which 2,025 were identified as Indians.
Verification of identity documents of 13 individuals is still underway.
As many as 71 people have been identified as illegal Bangladeshis.
The highest numbers were detected in Bhubaneswar (24), followed by Cuttack (15) and Berhampur (6).
Two Bangladeshi infiltrators had even obtained Indian passports in their own names.
