Two drown, one rescued from Mahanadi River
Cuttack: Two individuals lost their lives after drowning in the Mahanadi River in Cuttack on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Sai Behera and Pinkun Jena. A minor was rescued safely.
The incident took place near Jobra Barrage when the individuals were bathing in the river. Authorities were alerted, and rescue operations were conducted. The bodies of the deceased were recovered by fire services department personnel, and the minor was provided with treatment.
