3 KILLED AS BIKE RAMS INTO TRUCK IN JAJPUR

Jajpur (23/03/2024): At least three persons were killed after the bike they were riding rammed into a truck in front of Jindal company's main gate at Kalinganagar in Jajpur district on Saturday.

All of them are suspected to be locals of any nearby village. They were going on a bike when they lost balance on their two-wheeler and rammed into the truck.

Two of them died on the spot while the third person was rescued in critical condition and rushed to the local community health centre. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. It is suspected they were overspeeding and the biker lost balance on the two-wheeler. Following the incident, locals resorted to road a blockade affecting vehicular traffic. On being informed, local police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy.
