360 DEGREE CAMERAS TO HELP IN CONTROLLING FOREST FIRE AT SIMILIPAL
Bhubaneswar(03/03/2024): The National Park in Mayurbhanj district will get 360 degree cameras for controlling forest fire. Not only forest fire, these cameras will also be used for wildlife protection. It will cover the entire 15 kilometre radius so that smoke or fire can be easily detected.
Information regarding any fire incident can be sent immediately to the control room. Last year, forest fire was detected in 1056 points at Similipal.
