4-year-old girl given dog bite injection

Bonai(By Abhishek Mohanty): A 4-year-old girl was mistakenly given an anti-rabies (dog bite) injection by a doctor at the Bonai Sub-Divisional Hospital in Sundargarh district.

On July 29, Chinmayee Jena's daughter, a resident of Jagannathpur slum in Bonai, was taken to the hospital due to swelling on her back.

However, the doctor administered her an anti-rabies injection meant for dog bites, reportedly for an allergy.

Later, the doctor apologised for his mistake.
