Ama Bus goes up in flames in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): An “Ama Bus” caught fire at Kalinga Studio Square in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

Passengers quickly evacuated as smoke began to pour from the vehicle.

The bus (Route No 23) was soon engulfed in flames on the road, but fire services arrived promptly and brought the blaze under control.

Preliminary reports suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the fire.

The front portion of the vehicle got badly damaged.
