Audio Release of Odia Film "I Am Kalia", to Hit Screens on July 4
Bhubaneswar: The audio release event of the Odia movie "I Am Kalia", presented under the banner of Lee Bliss Entertainment, has been celebrated.
While many Odia films in the past have depicted stories based on the devotees of Lord Jagannath, even today, many people in our society are deeply devoted to the Lord, surrendering themselves completely to Him, and for whom divine love surpasses worldly love.
"I Am Kalia" is one such emotional social story that brings this sentiment to the silver screen.
The event was graced by actor Akash Das Nayak, senior BJP leader Sameer Mohanty, BJP State Secretary Kalandi Samal, editor of the family magazine Kadambini Dr. Iti Samanta, director Subash Das, producer Sachikant Jena, actor Shakti Baral, story writer and director Harihar Mahapatra, producer Subash Sahu, actor Kuna Tripathy, actress Pushpa Panda, and comedian Tiki, among others.

Director Harihar Mahapatra stated that the movie is completely dedicated to Lord Jagannath.
Dr. Iti Samanta emphasized that while working with language, literature, art, and tradition, it is everyone’s responsibility to observe, preserve, and present them to the public in a positive way.
Actor and MLA Akash Das Nayak remarked that artists working on films centered around Lord Jagannath receive divine grace and expressed confidence that this film directed by Harihar Mahapatra would be successful.
Sameer Mohanty said that a film based on Harihar Mahapatra's unique and original thought process is sure to make waves in the Odia film industry.
Kalandi Samal commented that since Lord Jagannath has given us the purpose of life, this realistic film is sure to do well.
Producer Sachikant Jena noted that Odia cinema is currently breaking records in Odisha.
In "I Am Kalia", produced by Subash Sahu, the main roles are played by Harihar Mahapatra, renowned Russian theatre actress Aniya, Kuna Tripathy, Pushpa Panda, Satwaki Mishra, and others.
The story is by Monalisa Mahapatra, screenplay and direction by Harihar Mahapatra, and music direction by Baidyanath Das. Co-direction is by Ashish Behera, cinematography by Kanhu Nanda Shubham, production design by Sarada Nayak, and promotions are handled by Pranay Jethi. The advisor for the film is Amiya Maharana.
The songs are written by Surya Mahapatra, Dr. Shubha Dash, Pramod Parida, and Nihar Priyasees, while the vocals are by Human Sagar, Asima Panda, Kuldeep, Prajna Hota, Shreecharan, Sukanta Kundu, and Sanju Mohanty.
Choreography is by Sudhakar Basant, Raja Mahant, and Kumar Mantu.
The entire film was shot in the sacred town of Puri. Notably, this is the third Odia film to feature a foreign actress in a lead role.
The event was hosted by Dr. Shrinivas Ghatua.
The event saw the presence of many prominent stars from the Odia film industry, music directors, singers, film critics, artists, directors, technicians, and media representatives.
It was officially announced during the audio release event that "I Am Kalia" will be released across Odisha on July 4, coinciding with the occasion of Bahuda Yatra (Return Car Festival of Lord Jagannath).
