Balasore Lok Mahotsav to Honor Top Three Durga Puja Committees This Year

Balasore, 25/9 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): The Balasore Lok Mahotsav Committee has decided to honor the top three Durga Puja committees in Balasore city this year. In this regard, a written application was submitted to the District Collector through Additional District Magistrate Sudhakar Nayak today.

The selection will be based on the best decorations and arrangements by the committees during this year’s Durga Puja. The chosen committees will be presented with certificates of appreciation and a financial support of ₹5,000 each by the Balasore Lok Mahotsav Committee. A separate selection committee will be formed to oversee the process, as requested by the District Collector.

Today, during the meeting, the Committee’s President Asit Kumar Das, Executive President Sriman Shrichandan, Vice President Bikash Padhi, General Secretary Sanjay Samanta, Deputy President Simon Das Mahapatra, Treasurer Nishith Barik, Advisor Shantanu Das, and other members including Suresh Upadhyay, Hritik Nayak, Lambodar Behera, and Sushil Panda were present.
