BMC gears up to tackle Cyclone ‘Montha’ impact in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has geared up to face the possible impact of cyclone ‘Montha’. 

Mayor Sulochana Das informed that all necessary arrangements have been made across the city.

A total of 50 shelters, along with all government schools, have been prepared to accommodate people in case of emergencies. 

BMC teams are on alert to handle fallen trees and waterlogging situations that may arise during the cyclone.

Residents have been advised to dial 1929 in case of any emergency.

The Mayor also urged citizens to seek help from their local corporators whenever required.
