CM NAVEEN PATNAIK APPEALS TO OBSERVE EARTH HOUR TODAY
Bhubaneswar (23/03/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik appealed everyone to observe Earth Hour today by switching off lights for one hour. The CM appealed to all the people through X post on his personal X handle to observe Earth Hour.
He said that, all lights at Naveen Niwas will be switched off for an hour today from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The CM further appealed all to join the global pledge to conserve electricity and to mitigate global warming and climate change hazards.
The CM said Earth is the only home we have and we have to work together to make Earth a more sustainable place. In the X post he wrote, “Joining #EarthHour, I will switch off all lights at Naveen Niwas from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm today.
Appeal all to join the global movement to conserve electricity and reduce global warming for a sustainable Earth, the unique home we share.”.
