College student held with ganja in Ganjam 

Berhampur(By Abhishek Mohanty): A college student was arrested for allegedly transporting ganja on a motorcycle near the Agriculture District Office at Digapahandi in Ganjam district on Wednesday.
The accused, identified as Binay Raita (19) is a resident of Halapanka village under Mohana police limits in Gajapati district.
According to officials of the Odisha Excise Department, the arrest was made following a tip-off.

The excise team intercepted the motorcycle and allegedly recovered a large quantity of ganja from his possession. 

The contraband was seized and the student was taken into custody for further investigation.

Local residents alleged that drug mafias are increasingly luring innocent college students into transporting ganja and demanded strict action against the masterminds behind the racket.
