COUPLE KILLED BY MAOISTS IN KANDHAMAL
Kandhamal (09/03/2024): A couple was killed by Maoists near Bidapadar village under Gochhapada police limits in Kandhamal district. The deceased have been identified as Dahira Kanhar and Batasi Kanhar.
According to sources, a group of armed Maoists picked up the couple from their house on Friday night and killed them inside a forest near the village. They were killed on suspicion of being the informers of police.
