WOMAN DIES IN ELEPHANT ATTACK
Sundargarh (09/03/2024): A woman died due to elephant attack at Kusumundi village under Koida forest range in Sundargarh district on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Ituwari Bhadra. Bhadra was sleeping in her house when the elephant entered her house in search of paddy grains.
Seeing the wild tusker, she ran out of the house, but the chased her and trampled her to death. The locals demanded adequate compensation for family of the deceased.
