CREDAI BALASORE CITY CHAPTER OPENS
Balasore(07/03/2024): The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India-Odisha (CREDAI Odisha) has opened its new chapter at Balasore having members from Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak district on March 6, 2024.
On occasion of Installation ceremony of Balasore chapter, Swadesh Kumar Routray, President CREDAI Odisha state federation briefed the media about CREDAI and its objectives in Real Estate Business which is going to help the builder fraternity as well as consumer at large.
CREDAI represents over 13,300 + developers across the country in major 21 leading states through 230 City Level associations.
The main objective of the CREDAI is to bring transparency in the real estate sector by adopting self regulatory code of conduct to standardize the practices followed by the fellow developers to help to bring very conducive and sustainable property market across the country.
The association has made mandatory to open Consumer Redressal Forum (Grievance Cell) in every state to deal and resolve the customer problems to enhance the developers credibility in the eye of the purchaser.
D.S.Tripathy, Chairman of the State Federation added that CREDAI is committed to bring affordable housing basically to fulfill the need of middle class & lower middle class people in Odisha.
However he urged the government to bring a single window time bound transparent approval system which will not only reduce the cost of production drastically but also allow the fellow developers to concentrate on up grading their skills by using latest technology and cost effective methods rather than running pillar to post for getting various NOC and approval for the sanction of the building plan. He also pointed out that according to recent census the state urban population is only 17% as compared to national urban population of 31%.
However , the state is growing very fast in many sector that will lead to urbanization at a very faster pace .The planning and civic body has to face too many challenges to ascertain the Proper & planned growth of the various cities in the state.
There is a need to put proper attention by the planning and civic body with specialized people to understand the pace of urbanization and make proper planning with adequate civic amenities. On this occasion CREDAI Balasore Chairman Raj Kumar Khandelwal, President Bibhu Chandan Jena, Vice President Prakash Kishore Nayak and Dillip Agrawal, General Secretary, Sangram Panda, Joint Secretary Manoj Jena, Treasurer Sushil Ranjan Mohanty and Coordinator Jyotirmay Das pointed out various problems faced by them and will meet with different government officials in a form of delegation of CREDAI Balasore to discuss and short out the problems faced by them.
D.S.Tripathy, Chairman, Swadesh Kumar Routray, President, Anil Kumar Agarwal, Secretary, Surayakanta Behera, Treasurer, CREDAI-Odisha State Federation and CREDAI Bhubaneswar Secretary, Jagat Kumar Kar were actively handling the installation ceremony.
The ceremony was anchored by Dr.Smiti Padhi of Balasore.
The ceremony was attended by many eminent personalities including leading architects from the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Bhadrak. The members elected office bearers of CREDAI Balasore City Chapter for the year 2024-2026.
