CSC staff arrested for demanding Rs 100 bribe for registration, application forms of Subhadra Yojana
Bhubaneswar (14/09/2024): The Titilagarh police in Balangir district on Saturday arrested a Common Services Centre (CSC) employee on the charges of demanding money from Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries for the registration and application process.
The accused has been identified as Akash Sahu, son of Santosh Sahu of Manigaon village under Titilagarh police limits in the district. Akash was allegedly demanding Rs 100-130 from women applicants for the registration process and providing application forms.
The matter came to the light after a complaint was filed in this connection by Titilagarh BDO. Based on a complaint, police registered a case and arrested the person.
