Dalda ghee seized inside Puri Srimandir
Puri(By Abhishek Mohanty): The Puri Shree Jagannath Jagannath Temple Administration seized containers of Dalda ghee that were allegedly being used inside the Srimandir premises, in violation of temple guidelines.
A Mahasuar servitor has been questioned in connection with the incident.
Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Arabinda Padhee stated that no form of indiscipline or irregularity will be tolerated inside the temple.
As per the temple’s standing order, only Omfed ghee is permitted for use in temple rituals and offerings.
