Balasore, Nov 3 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty):
A four-day art exhibition titled “Painting for Humanity” has been inaugurated at Jayadev Bhavan, Bhubaneswar, under the auspices of the quarterly magazine Yuga Prabartaka, as part of its Literature and Art Festival.

The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of distinguished guests, including noted litterateur Professor Natabar Satapathy, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. More than two hundred young and emerging artists from various districts of Odisha are participating in this creative event, presenting their artworks that reflect diverse styles and themes.

Among the participants, the paintings of Western Odisha artists such as Kedar Nayak (Bargarh), Purnachandra Meher (Baudh), Basanta Pradhan (Padmapur, Bargarh), Bidyapati Pradhan (Bargarh), Pritish Kumar Sahoo (Bargarh), and Sejal Das (Hirakud, Sambalpur) have drawn special attention from visitors and art lovers alike.

Through this exhibition, the artists have portrayed multiple dimensions of humanity, society, and culture using colors, forms, and metaphors that express their unique perspectives. Each canvas reflects the pulse, struggle, and message of human life in its own distinctive style.

The exhibition will remain open to the public, art enthusiasts, and admirers of creative expression from November 2 to 4, 2025. Celebrating the deep bond between humanity and art, “Painting for Humanity” has emerged as a vibrant platform for young artists to showcase their talent and engage in meaningful artistic dialogue.
