Elephant dies after coming in contact with live electric wire
Angul (08/10/2024): An elephant died after coming into contact with a live electric wire at Sisakata village under Dhandatopa range in Athmallik forest division of Angul district.
The forest department seized the carcass of the elephant and initiated an investigation into the matter.
According to information, the wire was set up to capture wild boars, but unfortunately, the elephant got entangled in it .
