ELEVEN PLACES IN ODISHA RECORD TEMPERATURE ABOVE 40 DEGREES CELSIUS

Bhubaneswar(04/04/2024): Eleven places in Odisha recorded temperature above 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Malkangiri and Boudh recorded 42 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Angul and Boudh recorded 41.7 degrees Celsius. While Jharsuguda registered a maximum temperature of 41.6 degrees Celsius, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded 38 and 37.4 degrees Celsius, respectively. The Bhubaneswar Regional Centre of India Meteorological Department had earlier stated that most places in the state may experience unbearable heat till April 6.
