Explosion & landslide occurs at Gopalpur stone quarry in Dhenkanal
Dhenkanal(By Abhishek Mohanty): An explosion and a landslide occurred at the Gopalpur stone quarry in Motanga, Dhenkanal district.
The fire services recovered two bodies from under the debris.
According to information, one ODRAF team and two fire service teams were engaged in the rescue operation.
A JCB machine was used to remove the soil and debris.
The stone quarry was operating with illegal blasting during the mining activity.
