Patha Utsav kicks off in Bhubaneswar with music, dance and fitness activities

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The first Patha Utsav of the year began early Sunday morning in Bhubaneswar, bringing vibrant cultural and fitness activities to the city streets. 

Organised by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the event started at 6 AM and transformed the stretch from Master Canteen Square to Ram Mandir into a lively public space.

The road came alive with a variety of performances and activities, including dance and music shows, fashion displays, Zumba sessions, skating, karate demonstrations, and yoga performances, attracting participants of all age groups.

To facilitate the event, vehicular movement on the main road was restricted.

The Commissionerate Police halted traffic from Master Canteen to Ram Mandir until 11 AM.

The BMC has announced that Patha Utsav will be organised again on January 18 in Jagamara area and on February 1 in Infocity area, continuing its aim to promote community engagement and healthy lifestyles.
