FIEO discussed the key Government Policies in Import Export in India by participating in 5th National Management Week Conclave 2025 by B-School Forum Odisha

Bhubaneswar(22/02/2025): On 22 February 2025, B-School Forum 5th National Management Week Conclave 2025 organised a seminar on the key issues and Government Policies for Import Export in India for Entrepreneurs at the premises of NMIET, B-SCHOOL Bhubaneswar.

The State Head of Odisha Chapter, Kamal Kant Sahu FIEO presented a talk on this context with the prsence of Management students, Faculty members and the present delegates.In 2004, the EXIM Policy was renamed the Foreign Trade Policy to provide a comprehensive approach to foreign trade in India.

The Ministry of Commerce announced the recent FTP, which came into effect on 1 April 2023.

FTP 2023-2028 seeks to make India an export hub and to integrate India further into global value chains. The Foreign Trade Development and Regulation Act, 1992 guides India's export-import policies.

India's Foreign Trade Development and Regulation Act regulates and promotes foreign trade.

A new Foreign Trade Act replaced the 1947 Imports and Exports Act, and the DGFT is the main governing body for Exim Policy. The program concluded by inaugurating the BBR Report and with the vote of thanks by the faculty members which was coordinated by Prof Anil kumar Bhuian of NMIET B-SCHOOL.
