FLOODWATER BEING RELEASED THROUGH 20 GATES OF HIRAKUD DAM
Sambalpur (06/08/2023): Excess floodwater is being released through 20 sluice gates of Hirakud Dam in Sambalpur district. While the inflow into the dam stands at 3,88,932 causes, 3,55,793 cusecs of water is being discharged through the reservoir.
The water level of the reservoir stands at 621.95 ft.
