15 DETAINED FOR SETTING PHIRINGIA POLICE STATION ON FIRE
Phulbani(06/08/2023): As many as 15 persons were detained for allegedly setting on fire the Phiringia police station in Kandhamal district. A case has been registered against more than 100 people in this connection.
On Saturday, hundreds of irate locals set Phiringia police station on fire over alleged involvement of the Inspector In Charge and two subordinate staff in illegal trading of ganja.
The agitators demand strong action against Inspector In Charge Tapan Kumar Nahaka and home guards Prashant Patra and Rabi Digal .
