Gen Z prefers UST projectors that offer superior visuals, sound and integrated features at affordable price

Bhubaneswar(01/03/2025): Gen Z has a distinct taste in home entertainment gadgets because they crave immersive visual experiences.
According to the study ‘Preferred Streaming Platforms Among Gen Z India 2023’ by Statista, more than half of the respondents preferred YouTube, followed by Netflix.
To enjoy content on these platforms, Gen Z favours large screens for a richer experience.
This inclination toward technical upgrades and big-screen entertainment at home makes a cutting-edge UST projector a perfect fit for them. “The Gen Z audience also prefers minimalism.
They seek high-quality home cinema experiences and favour integrated devices that eliminate the need for multiple setups.
This makes UST projectors particularly appealing, as they offer instant entertainment with superior features and sound quality, while being easy to use in any setting,” says Sushil Motwani, Founder of Aytexcel Pvt.Ltd.and the Official India Representative of Formovie. He says UST projectors featuring Advanced Laser Phosphor Display (ALPD®) technology and 4K resolution for vibrant, lifelike colours are gaining more popularity among young users, “The new generation won’t compromise on visual quality.
Speed is another key factor, making technologies like MEMC more relevant.
It enhances action movies, sports, and gaming by delivering fast-moving images with exceptional sharpness and zero lag,” adds Motwani. Recently, Formovie launched its XMING Episode One in India, quickly becoming one of its fastest-selling models, especially among young users.
“It is one of the most cost-effective devices, offering world-class features at an unbelievable price, which appeals to the youth.
The projector delivers a 1080p native resolution, a cinematic 120-inch display, and 2x3W speakers with Dolby Audio for clear sound and deep bass, just like in theatres,” says Mr Motwani. He highlights the integration of Google, multiple connectivity options like USB, HDMI 2, and WiFi 5 dual-band, along with Google TV, as key factors attracting young buyers to devices like Episode One.
“The integration of apps like Netflix and other technical advancements that enhance convenience are top priorities for Gen Z.
We can expect more advanced gadgets designed specifically for them, especially in India, which has one of the largest young populations in the world,” he concludes.
