Government of Pakistan's 'X' account withheld in India

New Delhi (24/04/2025): India has withheld access to the official X (fornerly Twitter) account of the Government of Pakistan, following the terrorist attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The move comes a day after India announced sweeping measures against Pakistan, including pause of the decades-old Indus Waters Treaty. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the dastardly terror attacks in Pahalgam.

Addressing a massive gathering at Madhubani in Bihar on Panchayati Raj Day, the Prime Minister said, "India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist and their backers.

They will be given a punishment beyond their imagination." Terrorism will not go unpunished.

Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done, the PM added.
