HEAVY DOWNPOURS TO LASH 12 ODISHA DISTRICTS

Monsoon Trough-induced Bhubaneswar(08/07/2023) : Due to an elongated low-pressure area formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal and near Coastal Odisha, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur over one or two places tomorrow in twelve districts of the state.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar today issued Yellow Warning today for the next five days. Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Deogarh till 8.30 am of Sunday.

Yellow weather warning has been issued for these districts.
