HELPMATE ORGANISES BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT UTKAL KANIKA GALLERIA MALL
Bhubaneswar(09/04/2024): A blood donation camp for thalassemia patients was organised by Helpmate at Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda and Rajya Sabha MP Sulata Deo. Helpmate Secretary Nibedita Bhanja, Vice President Niharika Patnaik, Joint Secretary Leena Mishra, Chamak Chandini Das, Sandhya Prusty and Babita Mohanty made people aware about the benefits of blood donation. They highlighted that blood donation by one person can help three persons needing blood. Blood donation can help a person in controlling health complications including diabetes and heart attack.
