HIGH LEVEL BRIDGE TO BE CONSTRUCTED OVER RIVER MAHANADI
Cuttack (16/03/2024): The Odisha Cabinet on Saturday approved 14 important proposals of seven departments. As per decision, a high level bridge will be constructed over river Mahanadi at Brahmankanda - Sahukheta road under Salepur block in Cuttack district.
The bridge will provide interlink connection between Cuttack -Paradip Road to Cuttack - Chandbali Road.
The Cabinet gave its approval for construction of Yadav Bhawan at Chandrasekharpur in Bhubaneswar.
The Cabinet exempted premium of Rs 5,06,00,000 for lease of government land at Chandrasekharpur in favour of Utkal Yadav Mahasabha for construction of Yadav Bhawan. Another proposal for sanction of lease of AC.2.50 dec.of government land in Mouza Unit-29,Chauliaganja under Cuttack Sadar tehsil of Cuttack district in favour of DAV SCB Medical Public School free of premium and incidental charges but subject to payment of annual ground rent at the rate 0.25 percent of the premium and cess at the rate 75 percent of the ground rent for construction of new school building and waiver of all government dues including interest thereon for the entire period of occupation in respect of AC.180 dec.of government land in Mouza Unit No.20, Mangalabag, Cuttack on which the old SCB Medical Public School stood. The Cabinet approved the scheme 'Command Area Development and Water Management activities in irritated commands (version 2.0) with an estimated cost of Rs 763.47 crore for a further period of five years to 2028-29.
