HIRAKUD DAM WATER LEVEL DECREASING
Sambalpur (07/08/2023): The water level of Hirakud Dam in Sambalpur district is decreasing owing to reduced rainfall activities in the upper catchment areas of the Mahanadi River system.
The water level of the dam stands at 621.10 ft by 6 am today. Excess water is being released through 20 sluice gates.
The inflow and outflow stand at 1,67,230 cusecs and 3,49,496 cusecs respectively.
