Jagannath Cultural Awakening program to begin in Puri on March 15 by Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): A nationwide spiritual and cultural initiative aimed at spreading the message and consciousness of Lord Jagannath will commence from Srikshetra Puri on March 15, 2026.

The program, titled “Mahaprabhu’s Ichhapurna” (Fulfillment of the Lord’s Divine Will), is being organized by the Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan.

The inaugural event will begin in Puri, followed by programs in Bhubaneswar on March 23 and 24, 2026. Subsequently, events will be held at the Shree Jagannath Temple consecration ceremony in Haridwar on April 6 and 7, 2026, and from April 9 to 12, 2026, at the Jagannath Temple in Pragpur, Himachal Pradesh.

Organizers stated that the initiative seeks to reawaken Jagannath consciousness not only in Odisha but across India and globally. The program will include the distribution of “Shree Jagannath Saurabh,” release of devotional books in Odia and Hindi, and spiritual discourses by eminent speakers.

Cultural performances featuring devotional songs and traditional dances dedicated to Lord Jagannath will also be part of the celebrations.
Additionally, individuals contributing significantly to the preservation and promotion of Jagannath culture will be honoured with the “Shree Jagannath Culture Protector” award.

The organizers have extended invitations to dignitaries, including constitutional authorities, public representatives, religious leaders, and the general public, seeking their blessings and participation in the spiritual movement.

The initiative reflects the enduring tradition of devotion and surrender associated with Lord Jagannath, revered as the supreme spiritual sovereign of Utkal, and aims to strengthen cultural and spiritual unity through collective participation.
