Koraput declared a Maoist-free district: South Western Range DIG
Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): South-Western Range DIG Kanwar Vishal Singh announced Koraput as Maoist-free.
The declaration came after the surrender of woman Maoist Mamata Podiyami.
CPI (Maoist) cadre Mamata, holding the rank of ACM, surrendered.
She surrendered along with one SLR rifle and 10 rounds of ammunition.
