MAN GOES MISSING AFTER JUMPING INTO MAHANADI RIVER

Sambalpur (12/09/2023): A man went missing after allegedly jumping into Mahanadi River from Chaurpur bridge in Sambalpur district on Tuesday. A scooter was found parked on the bridge. Fire services personnel rushed to the spot and started a search operation. The man aged about 50 was talking over phone near the bridge and later jumped into the river after keeping his scooter and slippers on the bridge, locals said.
