Odia journalist Akshay Sahoo receives threat mail from Khalistani terrorist; Security intensified in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar (30/11/2024): Odia journalist Akshay Sahoo has received a threat mail from US-based Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.
The Khalistani terrorist has allegedly sent an audio and a threat e-mail to the journalist in Bhubaneswar.
Through the purported audio message, it has been warned not to fly from Bhubaneswar airport on December 1 as it will be a D-day. The threat e-mail reads, "Hindu Terrorist Modi has turned Bhubaneswar into a terror city.
Do not fly to and from Biju Patnaik International Airport on December 1. Khalistan Naxals, Maoists, Kashmiri fighters target DGP Terror Conference, Lok Seva Bhawan, Raise Khalistan Flag, reward Rs 25 lakh.
Pro Khalistani Sikhs are ready to die for freedom of Punjab, Indian Police Chiefs are you willing to sacrifice your life to defend the territorial integrity of India?" After receiving information regarding the threat mail, the Commissionerate Police has intensified security in Bhubaneswar which is hosting the All India Conference of Directors General and Inspectors General of Police.
Additional forces have also been mobilised to prevent any untoward incident.
