ODISHA CABINET APPROVES PROPOSAL TO GRANT NUA-O SCHOLARSHIP TO UG, PG STUDENTS
Bhubaneswar (09/03/2024): The Odisha Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday approved 17 important proposals.
The Cabinet approved a.
proposal to grant Nua-O scholarship to all UG and PG students in the state. The scholarship was earlier given to students under the Higher Education department. Another proposal to develop the Biju Patnaik Aviation Centre at Birasal airstrip in Dhenkanal got Cabinet approval.
An amount of Rs 562 crore has been earmarked for the project. Besides, the Cabinet approved the Ama Bus Stand Yojana.
Under the scheme, bus stands across the state will be developed.
Another proposal for providing free land to Nabarangpur Jadav Samaj also got Cabinet approval.
