ODISHA ELECTIONS 2024 PHASE 4: VOTING BEGINS IN SIX LOK SABHA & 42 ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCIES

Bhubaneswar (01/06/2024): Voting commenced in six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly constituencies for the fourth phase of elections in Odisha. A total of 99.6 lakh voters will decide the fate of 66 candidates in six Lok Sabha and seats and 394 candidates contesting for the 42 Assembly seats. Polling is underway for Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seats, and all the 42 Assembly seats under these Parliamentary segments. Glitches in Electronic Voting Machines have been reported from several places.
Glitches were reported in Booth no.254 at Basantpur under Gadarpur block in Kendrapara district, Booth no.121 and 122 at Balipada in Kendrapara district, Booth no.106 at Belapal in Kendrapara district, Booth no.234 at Rodhpur School in Salepur of Cuttack district, Booth no.171 at Nimidihi in Paradip of Jagatsinghpur district, Booth no.142 at Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak district.
