ODISHA GOVERNMENT TO DEVELOP SKILLS OF YOUTHS UNDER NUA ODISHA SCHEME

Bhubaneswar(11/08/2023): The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday approved 19 important proposals. The Cabinet approved Nutana Unnata Abhilasha (NUA) Odisha scheme with an aim to develop skill of youths with an investment of Rs 385 crore.

Target has been set to develop skills of one lakh youths every year. The State Cabinet also gave its approval for execution of four mega piped water supply projects in Puri district. Besides, a proposal for leasing out government land measuring Ac.48.842 dec.in Padanpur, Baratota, Bhimapur and Belapada Mouzas under Jatni tehsil of Khordha district in favour of NISER, Bhubaneswar on free of all charges basis for setting up of Cancer Hospital & Education Centre by Tata Memorial Centre has been approved. As per decision, banking facilities will be provided in 4373 unbanked panchayats .
