Odisha government to fill up 1.5 lakh vacant posts in five years: CM

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has warned the corrupt officials that they will face jail, if they engage in corruption.
While presenting his government's report card after one year in office, the Chief Minister said that there is no alternative to jail for corrupt officials.
Highlighting several achievements and future plans of his government,
the CM said, " We have plans to provide 40,000 jobs this year. The government aims to fill 1.5 lakh vacant posts in the next five years. So far, 28,000 government posts have been filled."
The CM said, "Odisha aims to make the state one of the top five in the country. The government has outlined 36 programs for 2036 and will shed light on its achievements and future plans in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 20."
The government has fulfilled its promises made to the people. It is committed to development of agriculture and farmers, health infrastructure development under the leadership of PM Modi, he added.
The Mohan Majhi-led government has started celebrating its first anniversary from June 8. A series of activities have been lined up in the state till June 21.
